Using Chaldea

These terms are an agreement between you and Seismic LLC, 138 Delta Ave, Paonia, CO 81428, United States, which operates Chaldea. You must be at least 16 years old, be legally able to agree to these terms, and give accurate account information. You are responsible for your account. If you add someone else’s birth data, you confirm that you have their permission or, for a child, that you are their parent or guardian.

Guidance, not professional advice

Chaldea provides astrological, educational, and AI-assisted content for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it for emergencies or decisions requiring a qualified professional.

Readings and chat answers are written by an AI model from your chart and a curated astrological corpus. They are interpretation, not fact. They can be incomplete or wrong, or may not apply to you, and they are not predictions to act on as certain.

Web subscriptions

On the web, Full access costs US$19 a month and is billed by Stripe. It renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Settings → Account → Manage subscription, which opens Stripe’s billing portal; cancelling stops future charges. Deleting your Chaldea account also cancels a web subscription, so it will not renew.

App Store subscriptions

On iOS, Full access is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. The price shown in the purchase screen is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Your subscription renews automatically for the selected billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Changes between monthly and annual billing take effect according to Apple’s subscription rules. Deleting your Chaldea account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Refunds

Cancelling a web subscription stops the next charge. The current billing period runs to its end and is not refunded. The exceptions are a refund that consumer law requires, such as the 14-day cooling-off period for consumers in the EU and the UK where it applies, and billing errors; for either, email hello@chaldea.ai. Deleting your Chaldea account cancels a web subscription immediately and does not refund the current period.

Refund requests for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple under its own rules. Any refund right that the law gives you still applies.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Chaldea: do not disrupt it, probe or reverse engineer it, scrape it, try to extract its model or its corpus, access it unlawfully, or use it to break the law. Do not enter another person’s birth data without the permission described above. We may suspend access where needed to protect users, Chaldea, or the public. Usage limits may change. Today a free account includes 10 chat messages a day and one complete reading, and Full access includes 200 chat messages a day and daily briefs.

Content and availability

You retain rights in content you submit. You let us host, display, and process that content to operate, secure, and support the service you asked for, including producing the results you request. The service and generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Features, limits, and availability may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Ending use and liability

You may stop using Chaldea or delete your account at any time. Account deletion cancels a web subscription but does not cancel an Apple subscription. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Chaldea is provided “as is,” without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts located in Delta County, Colorado, and either of us may use a small-claims court instead. If the consumer law where you live gives you rights these terms cannot remove, including the right to bring a claim locally, those rights still apply.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is material we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. If you keep using Chaldea after that, the updated terms apply.
