Information we collect
We collect account details such as your email address; profile and birth data you choose to provide; charts, conversations, journal entries, preferences, and other content you create; subscription and entitlement status; and technical information such as device, diagnostics, usage, and approximate network information.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and personalize Chaldea, generate requested astrological and AI-assisted results, authenticate accounts, maintain subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, improve reliability, and communicate about the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers and AI
We share information only as needed with providers that operate authentication, hosting, databases, analytics, error monitoring, communications, payment processing, and AI features. Text you submit to an AI feature, plus relevant context needed to answer it, may be processed by our AI providers. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple’s own privacy policy.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Financial transaction records may be retained where legally required after account deletion, without a link to your deleted Chaldea profile where practical.
Your choices
You can update profile information in Settings and delete your account from Settings → Account. Deletion removes your Chaldea account and associated content, subject to limited legal and security retention. Deleting Chaldea does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; manage that subscription in your Apple Account settings.
